Creating Migration EndPoints and Migrating Mailboxes to 21V Exchange Online
Login to https://partner.outlook.cn/ecp –> Recipients–>Migration
Click on Migration endpoints
Click on (+)
Select Exchange Remote and Click on Next
Enter the On-premises Exchange Migration permissions enabled Account information and Click on Next
By Default, MRS Proxy Server is picked using the Autodiscover Services from the previous details. Click on Next
Enter the Migration endpoint name and Maximum concurrent and Incremental sync information details
Now, Migration endpoints have been created. Let’s now create a migration batch and start initiating the migration to 21V Exchange online
Click on (+) –> Migration to Exchange Online
Select Remote move migration and Click on Next
Click on (+)
Select the On-Premises Exchange Mailbox to Migrate
Click on Next
Since we have already created a Migration Endpoint, Click on Next
Enter the Batch name and other details, Target Delivery domain let be select the default one
Select the administrator account to notify and click on new. Depending on the mailbox size it will take time to complete and upon completion, the administrator will be notified.
You can see now mailbox has been completed successfully without any issues.
Post-migration, You can see the External email address set for the 21V migrated mailbox.
For the same user, an On-Premises Remote-Routing address has been set. This enables users from on-premises and global users to send mails using the addresses.
You can create inbound/outbound connectors on On-premises / Global tenant / 21V Cloud to route the mail inbound/outbound based on the requirements of your company.
