Install-WindowsFeature RSAT-ADDS,AS-HTTP-Activation, Desktop-Experience, NET-Framework-45-Features, RPC-over-HTTP-proxy, RSAT-Clustering, RSAT-Clustering-CmdInterface, RSAT-Clustering-Mgmt, RSAT-Clustering-PowerShell, Web-Mgmt-Console, WAS-Process-Model, Web-Asp-Net45, Web-Basic-Auth, Web-Client-Auth, Web-Digest-Auth, Web-Dir-Browsing, Web-Dyn-Compression, Web-Http-Errors, Web-Http-Logging, Web-Http-Redirect, Web-Http-Tracing, Web-ISAPI-Ext, Web-ISAPI-Filter, Web-Lgcy-Mgmt-Console, Web-Metabase, Web-Mgmt-Console, Web-Mgmt-Service, Web-Net-Ext45, Web-Request-Monitor, Web-Server, Web-Stat-Compression, Web-Static-Content, Web-Windows-Auth, Web-WMI, Windows-Identity-Foundation
After Installation of the both, open the Exchange 2016 setup files extracted folder and click on run as administrator
click on connect to the internet and check for updates if your server connected to internet or else click on don’t check updates right now. best practice is to connect to the internet and check for updates which will help to keep your exchange 2016 downloaded with latest updates if anything is there
Click on Next
Select I accept the terms in the license agreement and Click on Next
Select Use Recommended Settings and Click on Next
Select the installation Location and Click on Next
Select Mailbox Role and click on Next
Select Automatically install Windows Server roles and features that are required to install Exchange Server, If wish to Exchange server should install the windows features by it’s own.
Since i have already installed them, i am gonna skip this option.
Select No and Click on Next
Click on Install
Post successful installation of Exchange 2016, you can use the below URL https://localhost/ecp/?exchclientver=15 to see the Exchange Admin Center
Follow the same steps and get the Exchange 2016 installed in 2010-EX2016MBX2 as well.
