Skype for Business 2015 installation with SQL 2014 AlwaysOn- Part 2
Install the Prerequisites, Run it using PowerShell . Use the Source parameter to map the SXS path for Server 2012 if you’re prompted for Source
Add-WindowsFeature NET-Framework-Core, RSAT-ADDS, Windows-Identity-Foundation, Web-Server, Web-Static-Content, Web-Default-Doc, Web-Http-Errors, Web-Dir-Browsing, Web-Asp-Net, Web-Net-Ext, Web-ISAPI-Ext, Web-ISAPI-Filter, Web-Http-Logging, Web-Log-Libraries, Web-Request-Monitor, Web-Http-Tracing, Web-Basic-Auth, Web-Windows-Auth, Web-Client-Auth, Web-Filtering, Web-Stat-Compression, Web-Dyn-Compression, NET-WCF-HTTP-Activation45, Web-Asp-Net45, Web-Mgmt-Tools, Web-Scripting-Tools, Web-Mgmt-Compat, Server-Media-Foundation, BITS -Source d:\sources\sxs
Once the Prerequisites installed, Run the Skype for Business 2015 install

Install Visual C++ if you prompted to install

Skype for business is basically will ask you to install updates before you begin the installation. Here we are going with Don’t Check for updates right now as it is testing

Accept the License agreement and Click OK

Click on prepare Active Directory


Click Next,

Click Finish post the Successful completion

Click on Run to Prepare the Current Forest

Click Next

Click Prepare domain post the Forest Preparation


Click Exit once the Preparation is completed successfully.

Click on Install Administrative Tools

Click on Next


Open Topology Builder and Select New Topology and Click OK

Select the file name and Click on Save to continue

Type the Primary SIP Domain and Click Next

Click Next as we don’t have Additional SIP Domains

Type the Site Name and Click Next to Continue


Type the Pool FQDN and Select the Enterprise Edition Front End Pool and Click Next.

Add the All Computer FQDNs which are part of the Pool and Click Next



Click Continue as we are not adding the Edge servers right now

Select the SQL Server Store

Select the High Availability Settings and Add the Primary SQL server for now and Click on OK
Skype for Business will support for SQL Always ON. Please refer the article where I explained how to setup SQL AlwaysOn

Select the SQL Listener and Click Next

Select the File Store and Click Next


Once Everything defined, Publish the Topology.
